ROMI STUDIO: TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Welcome to Studio Romi. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and rental offerings. By booking an appointment, renting a garment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
- About Studio Romi
Studio Romi is a by-appointment evening wear rental studio based in Miami, Florida. We offer curated designer garments for short-term rental for specific events.
Studio Romi does not operate as an online rental service and does not ship garments. All rentals are picked up and returned in-studio only.
- Appointments
- Visits to Romi Studio are strictly by private appointment.
- Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our booking system. ● We reserve the right to refuse or cancel appointments at our discretion.
If you are late to your appointment, your fitting time may be shortened or forfeited without refund.
- Rental Process
- Garments are selected and reserved in-studio during your appointment. ● Once a garment is reserved, it is removed from availability for your event dates.
- Rentals are event-based and include a defined pickup and return window, confirmed at booking.
All garments must be picked up and returned at the Studio Romi location. We do not offer shipping or third-party courier returns.
- Rental Period
- Rental periods are tied to your confirmed event date.
- Pickup and return times are communicated at booking.
- Late returns may result in additional fees.
Failure to return a garment on time may result in:
- Late fees
- Additional rental charges
- Replacement charges if the garment cannot be rented to another client as scheduled
- Payments
- Payment is required to reserve a garment.
- Payments are processed in-studio or through our POS system. ● We do not store full credit card details.
All rental fees, deposits, and applicable charges must be paid in full before garment pickup.
- Security Deposits (if applicable)
Some garments may require a refundable security deposit.
Deposits may be partially or fully withheld if:
- The garment is returned damaged
- The garment is excessively soiled
- The garment is returned late
- The garment requires special restoration
- Cancellations & Changes
- Cancellations or changes must be requested in writing.
- Cancellation timelines and refund eligibility are communicated at booking. ● No-shows are non-refundable.
Studio Romi reserves the right to cancel a reservation due to:
- Garment damage from a previous renter
- Force majeure events
- Operational or safety concerns
In such cases, a refund or studio credit will be issued.
- Fit & Responsibility
- Fit is not guaranteed.
- Clients are responsible for trying on garments before finalizing rental. ● Minor adjustments/alterations may be offered at our discretion.
Studio Romi is not responsible for dissatisfaction related to fit, comfort, or personal preference after pickup.
- Garment Care & Use
You agree to:
- Use the garment responsibly
- Avoid stains, tears, burns, perfume saturation, and makeup transfer
- Not alter, tailor, or repair the garment
- Not remove tags or labels
- Not use the garment for commercial shoots or resale
- Damage, Loss & Theft
You are fully responsible for the garment from pickup until return. You may be charged for:
- Repairs
- Professional restoration
- Full replacement value if the garment is lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged
Replacement value is determined solely by Studio Romi.
- Cleaning
- Studio Romi handles all cleaning after each rental.
- Do not dry clean or wash the garment yourself.
If a garment is returned excessively soiled or requires special treatment, an additional cleaning fee may apply.
- Studio Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for:
- Disruptive behavior
- Unsafe conduct
- Damage to property
- Harassment of staff or other clients
- Intellectual Property
All content on the Studio Romi website and in-studio materials including logos, text, images, and branding is the property of Studio Romi and may not be used or reproduced without written permission.
- Limitation of Liability
Studio Romi is not responsible for:
- Personal injury
- Allergic reactions
- Event cancellations
- Loss of enjoyment
- Indirect or consequential damages
Use of garments is at your own risk.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
- Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
